We recently hosted the Franklin Middle School cheer team for a combined practice, and the energy was incredible! It was wonderful to see the Franklin Falcons working side-by-side with our squad.

A huge shoutout to our Parker athletes for ...doing an amazing job and showing such strong leadership last week. You represented the Vikings well!

🔥 BOYS BASKETBALL: 2 Dominant Wins & A Huge Milestone! 🏀

What a week for Parker Boys Basketball! The team secured two victories, scoring over 85 points in both games, and we celebrated a special career achievement for Coach Bredesen.

🏀GAME 1: Parker 93 - Cudahy 53 ...History was made on January 24th! Congratulations to Coach Bredesen on his 100th Varsity win as a Head Coach! 👏🥇

The Vikings attacked the glass and showed how much they’ve grown since early January.

Top Scorers: Tyrell Jordan (21), Javonte Johnson (15), Keyondre Johnson (12), Henry Simmons (11), Nolan Ziegelman (10).

Coach’s Take: "I told the guys it’s a long season... The goal is always to be your best in February. This was a huge step forward for us."

🏀GAME 2: Parker 88 - Racine Horlick 38 The Vikings kept the foot on the gas against Horlick. Parker jumped out to a 43-12 halftime lead and never looked back!

Defensive Stand: Jayvion Hill was lights out, holding Horlick’s star (av. 18ppg) to just 6 points.

From Downtown: Nolan Pagel was on fire, hitting 6 three-pointers for his 18 points!

Coach’s Thoughts on the week: "We have been playing well since early January, and I believe that will translate into more success in February."

🏒 TWO BIG WINS FOR THE BLUEBIRDS!

The Janesville Bluebirds Boys Hockey team had a massive week, grinding out two huge victories! The boys overcame slow starts in both games to dominate the 2nd and 3rd periods, showing resilience and plenty of grit.

Game Recaps:
🔹 3-2 OT... Win vs. Tomah: The "bus legs" were real in the first, but the team responded in a big way! After being outshot early, the Bluebirds flipped the script, outshooting Tomah 27-12 the rest of the way. 🧱 Kaleb Erickson made monster saves late in the 3rd to force OT. 🚨 David Lessner played the hero, burying the game-winner off the post and in!
🔹 5-3 Win vs. Whitefish Bay: A crucial win! The boys brought great energy and support in all three zones to secure the W. 🥅 Facing a tough sophomore goalie, the offense jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead and never looked back.

It’s been a massive couple of weeks for Janesville Girls Hockey, racking up two wins and a hard-fought tie! The girls showed true grit, battling through slow starts to dominate when it counted.

Game Recaps:
🔹 1/24 vs. Coulee Region (1-1 ...Tie): A tough battle ended in a draw. Jesse Demarasse was a rock in the net, while Ava Kilgora kept her hot streak alive with the lone goal.
🔹 1/27 vs. Viroqua (7-2 Win): The offense exploded on the road! The team executed their systems perfectly. Macy Murphy led the charge with a huge HAT TRICK 🎩 and an assist!
🔹 1/29 vs. Metro Lynx (3-2 Win - 2OT): BIG CONFERENCE W! 🚨 After a sluggish first period, the girls woke up, got aggressive, and battled to the very end. Jesse Demarasse put up another stellar performance in goal, and Macy Murphy played hero, netting the game-winner in Double Overtime!
